Dubbed Enverge, the battery-electric SUV wears svelte bodywork and sports traditional concept car design cues such as gullwing doors, small cameras in place of exterior mirrors, and a massive digital dashboard display. GAC claims the Enverge can travel more than 370 miles on a single charge thanks to a 71-kWh battery pack.

Buick will debut an all- electric concept SUV dubbed “Enspire” in China this month. In a statement, Buick says the Enspire “leverages GM’ s global resources” and “is an exploration of design and new technologies.”

Buick released a teaser image of a new all- electric concept SUV it’ s calling the Enspire. The darkened, right rear three-quarter shot shows a rounded rear fascia, a narrow tail lamp that stretches the length of the tailgate and a third brake light on the roof spoiler.

Buick has an image problem in the U.S., where it’s seen as a brand for The Olds, and where it’s planning to take its own name off of its cars in 2019. But in China, where Buick sold 1.2 million vehicles last year, it’s a completely different story. Electric is also big there, which brings us to the big Buick news of the day: an electric concept for China called the Enspire.

The Enspire will debut later this month in Beijing, and reflects Buick’s continued push into China and what is turning out to be the future of the brand. And while the Enspire is just a concept, GM has said that it will launch 20 new electric vehicles by 2023, meaning that the Enspire is just the tip of the iceberg.

Report: Kia Telluride Concept Heading to Production

Report: Kia Telluride Concept Heading to Production Large three-row crossover will slot above SorentoThe Kia Telluride Concept will be heading to production according to a new report from Australia's Motoring. During a round table discussion with Australian media at the 2018 Detroit auto show, Kia design boss Peter Schreyer confirmed that the massive crossover is going into production.

General Motors prepares to unveil a new concept . And as you might expect, it' s an electric SUV. Buick has released this teaser image, allegedly with the tailgate with rear window and dynamically styled tail lights. Unfortunately, it says very little about what to expect.

Without much detail, Buick said the electric SUV concept is the “latest example of innovation and application of future electric smart mobility.” It very well could be a larger SUV, or it may be a smaller hatchback like the Bolt EV. The rather round shape at the rear does remind us of the unbranded

Buick didn’t release many details about what might be inside, just the teaser image you see above, though we can probably assume that it’ll be based on the Chevy Bolt platform. One other burning question: Will the Enspire, in some form, ever be available in the U.S.? We don’t know, but GM acquired the trademark to “Enspire” here nearly three years ago, according to GM Authority.

I will say, I like the look of that rear, and it has me vaguely excited for a new Buick for the first time since ... I dunno, the Reatta? Nah. Not even then.

The Genesis Essentia is a Stunningly Gorgeous Electric Concept .
Now this is how you design a concept carBuilt to be an all-electric grand tourer, the two-door Essentia shows what Genesis designers can do when they're allowed to really let loose. The headlights remind us of the ones we saw on the GV80 concept at last year's New York Auto Show, and the grille is still generally shaped like the one on the G70, but if it weren't for the Genesis name on the back, we doubt anyone would know they're looking at a Genesis. From the sleek curves of the sheetmetal to the butterfly doors and even the copper wheels, the futuristic Essentia appears to have been designed almost entirely from scratch.
