A 15-year-old girl allegedly pulled the fire alarm at Kingston police headquarters after being brought in for having a raucous weekend.

On Sunday, police say they were called to a home after receiving a report about an out of control youth. Officers learned the girl had behavior and substance abuse problems. The teen was no longer welcome at her home, so police tried to locate another suitable residence where she could stay. None could be found, so she was taken to police headquarters.

The girl was arrested and held for bail hearing since no suitable residences were found.

The accused was charged with making a false fire alarm, and breach of probation. Police say she had already been charged with failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, but could not give the specifics of that previous incident.
