  5 dead in 2-vehicle collision south of Millet Wetaskiwin RCMP are investigating a two-vehicle collision that killed five people Tuesday afternoon. The collision happened at 4:15 p.m. approximately five kilometres south of Millet, Alta.The five people who died were all in the same vehicle. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene while another was brought to hospital but later died.  RCMP cannot confirm the identities of the victims or if the victims were related. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and is being treated in hospital.

Two people are dead after a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle in Brampton Monday evening, police say.

Emergency services were called to the area of Queen St. E. and Bramalea Rd. shortly before 10 p.m. after reports of a collision. At the scene, paramedics pronounced the drivers of both the vehicle and the motorcycle dead. Police say while the driver of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries in the collision impact, the cause of death of the vehicle driver is still not certain.

“We’re investigating the possibility that (the driver) had some sort of medical episode,” said Const. Irena Yashnyk.

Peel Paramedics say two people are dead after a crash in central Brampton on Monday. A police spokesperson told Global News officers are investigating the possibility the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical-related episode before the collision .

She added that the “vehicle kept traveling for some distance, mounting the curb” after having collided with the motorcycle.

“It didn’t come to a stop immediately,” she said.

Police say they do not have confirmation on gender or ages of the victims at this time. They are in the process of reaching out to next-of-kin.

With the investigation ongoing, anyone who may have witnessed the collision is encouraged to come forward to police.

A cyclist has died after being struck by a vehicle and possibly shot Saturday afternoon in the Dundas and Dufferin area, Toronto police said.Police said they received the call around 5:30 p.m. The male cyclist was unconscious and not breathing when they arrived at Frankish and Sheridan Aves.Paramedics said that it was possible the man had been shot, as he appeared to have gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, where he later died. Paramedics said they do not know whether it was the gunshot wounds or the collision that caused the cyclist’s death.
