  Two people killed in rollover on Trans-Canada Highway near Moose Jaw, Sask. Two people were killed and two others were sent to hospital after a rollover on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Moose Jaw on Sunday. In a press release issued Monday morning, the RCMP said it did not have information on the ages of the two people killed, or if their families had been notified. At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, Moose Jaw RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover west of Parkberg on the Trans-Canada Highway. Parkberg is located approximately 59 kilometres west of Moose Jaw.Police said the initial investigation has suggested an eastbound pickup truck carrying four passengers entered the ditch and rolled.

A woman is dead after a hit and run in the city's west end and police are now searching for the driver of the vehicle that struck her, Toronto police say.

Police were called to the scene in the Dufferin Street and Briar Hill Avenue Monday just after 3 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian struck by a truck.

The victim was rushed to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition and pronounced dead not long after. Her exact age is not known.

The vehicle that struck her is described as a silver Ford F150 while the driver was described by a witness as a male in his 30s, wearing a construction vest.

Dufferin Street is closed in both directions from Briar Hill Avenue to Windgold Avenue for the investigation. The closure is expected to remain in place for "an extended period."
