Corinne Olympios says medication, alcohol caused ‘BIP’ blackout

Corinne Olympios says medication, alcohol caused ‘BIP’ blackout The female "Bachelor in Paradise" contestant at the center of an on-set sex scandal says she blacked out that day after mixing alcohol with medication. Corinne Olympios did not specify what type of medication took, but said she wasn't aware that she shouldn't drink alcohol while she was on it. "I did drink too much. I definitely understand that. But I was also on a medication that severely blacks you out, and impairs your judgment and messes with your balance that," Olympios said Tuesday during an interview on "Good Morning America." Olympios said she’s now trying to ween herself off the medication while cutting down on drinking. Warner Bros. shut down production of the reality show in June amid concerns from a producer that a male contestant, DeMario Jackson, hooked up with Olympios in a pool on set while she was too drunk to consent. An internal investigation later cleared Jackson of any wrongdoing, and Olympios put out a statement saying she was satisfied with her own team's investigation. Days after "BIP" production was shut down, Olympios said through her rep that she believed she was a "victim" and that something "bad" happened that night, stating that she remembered nothing that had transpired. But after Warner Bros. cleared Jackson, Olympios claimed she was a victim of the media. She iterated that assertion on Tuesday.

Love Triangle ! Dean Unglert ’ s Playing Games With Girls’ Hearts On ‘BIP’ & It’s SERIOUSLY Messed Up. There’s already a love triangle on this season of Bachelor in Paradise and it’s seriously INTENSE!

"Last rose ceremony, we stayed the night together, and then in 10 hours, you're doing that. That was so disrespectful to me," Kristina replied. "I'm not going to just be there when you want to pursue other relationships and just kind of like, wait for you. So if that's what you want to do, do that."

"Be honest with me, and I feel like you were, up to the point that you did that. Because everything that you've said about me, and how you were feeling, just like, means nothing. Like, you have no idea how much it stung. I do not want to feel the way I do," she continued. "I know I deserve better than that."

With the women in power this rose ceremony, Dean had to figure out if he was going to try to make things right with Kristina, or continue pursuing a relationship with Danielle (whose rose ceremony outfit we COULD NOT get over. Whatchu wearing, girl?).

Could Bachelor in Paradise Get Any More Shameless?

Could Bachelor in Paradise Get Any More Shameless? Ever since its most recent premiere, Bachelor in Paradise has promised to shed light on what, exactly, happened this season before production shut down to facilitate the investigation of alleged misconduct on set. Fans have already seen what led up to the incident, as well as the discussion that came afterward. Last week, one of the parties involved, DeMario Jackson, sat across from Chris Harrison to tell his side of the story—and finally, on Tuesday night, Corinne Olympios appeared for her own interview. But the vibe was notably different during Olympios’s session with Harrison. As emotional as Jackson’s confessional was, he also managed to squeeze in a couple of jokes. Olympios, by contrast, was far more somber. But both sessions underscored the same thing: Bachelor in Paradise will never accept responsibility for what may have happened between the two of them, even though its very format is more responsible than any individual contestant. “I am doing a lot better,” Olympios said Tuesday night. “It was hard for me. It was really just, like, a time for family. My mom came out here and was staying with me, and I’ve just been—I’m better.” Olympios then revealed that she had unwittingly been taking a medication that should not be combined with alcohol—and that as a result, she had very little memory of the first day on set. “For those of us who were there,” Harrison pointed out, “you seemed like normal Corinne.

With Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise already off to an incredibly dramatic start without even airing yet, Bachelor Nation can rest assured this season of One contestant most fans are looking forward to seeing again is Dean Unglert . As the trailer shows , he might end up in a bit of a love triangle , but

"I'm going to tell Kristina that I'm going to pursue whatever with you," he told Danielle at the rose ceremony, as Kristina exploded.

"You want to pursue, not even a woman -- a girl -- who was straddling a man in the ocean, next night with you, next night with Jack Stone?" Kristina asked Dean, accusing him of misleading her before getting into a fight with Raven Gates and calling Danielle out for "f**king me up in every way."

"I do not one bit think she's innocent!" she yelled, storming off to the bar in tears.

After a heart to heart with Wells Adams, who asked her why she's "fighting for someone who's not fighting for you" (doing bartenders everywhere proud!), Kristina made her decision to leave at the rose ceremony.

"In my next relationship, I want to be valued, I want to be respected, and I want to be put first by someone who admires me for who I am and sees the value in me," she declared. "So that said, I cannot give out this rose tonight."

Dean followed Kristina out, mumbling "I hate myself," and "I'm sorry," before she hopped in the limo and left Paradise for good -- and he went back to accept Danielle's rose.

Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

ET sat down with Danielle last month, where she called her love triangle with Dean and Kristina "cringeworthy," and revealed that she doesn't think Dean is "mature" enough to be the Bachelor.
