  New ‘Justice League’ Trailer Shows Earth Under Attack The latest trailer for Warner Bros.’s follow-up to “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” dropped at New York Comic Con Sunday, and showed the world under attack from possibly alien invaders. Batman (Ben Affleck) says that the world needs Superman, and that he “made him a promise.” Bruce Wayne also describes a dream he had as “the end of the world.

The 38-year-old actor took to Instagram on Thursday to apologize for his comments, which resurfaced online in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct scandal.

"I made a truly tasteless comment. It is unacceptable and I sincerely apologize with a heavy heart for the words I said," he concluded. "All apologies."
