Jason Statham is jumping out ahead of controversy by apologizing for allegedly using a homophobic slur.

According to The Blast, a consultant on the actor's 2015 film "Wild Card" approached Statham last year claiming to have an audio recording of he and producer Steve Casman arguing on set and repeatedly using the term "f***ing f**s."

In a statement, Statham said he did not remember using the slur, but apologized if it is true.

"Someone approached me claiming to have a tape of me using terms offensive to the LGBTQ community during a conversation I had with my producing partner, on a movie set five years ago," Statham said.
