iPhone Upgrade Program customers can now trade in phones through the mail

iPhone Upgrade Program customers can now trade in phones through the mail Apple seems to be making it easier to trade in iPhones through the iPhone Upgrade Program with a new mail-in kit option, as spotted by John Angarano over at the MacRumors forums. Apple launched the iPhone Upgrade Program two years ago alongside the iPhone 6S as an alternative for customers looking to upgrade their phone without being tied to any one carrier. But if you were looking to upgrade your phone to a new model, you had to schedule an appointment in an Apple Store to trade in the old phone, something that seems to finally be changing with the new mail-in kit.

Today is National Coffee Day (which, by the way, is a food holiday I can TOTALLY get behind). And I’m sharing latte cookies. And guess what? If you didn’t want to invest in six individual jars of spices , you could certainly buy your own pumpkin pie spice at the store, but I choose to make my own for a

Leaked document shows how Apple decides to replace or repair your iPhone . On Friday, Starbucks’ Facebook page was flooded with people asking the same question: Can I buy a Pumpkin Spice Latte today?

The much-anticipated new iPhone X — pronounced iPhone 10 — has officially arrived.

It comes with a host of new features, but at a steep price: $999.

While many tech enthusiasts will gladly fork over a grand to upgrade to the new model, the price has left others balking. If you'd rather blow your cash elsewhere, here are six things you can do with $1,000 instead.

Drink 235 pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks

It's that time of year. At $4.25 a pop for a tall size, you'd be able to consume 235 of the fall drinks for the same price as an iPhone X. But to drink a full $1,000 worth of pumpkin spice lattes before December, you'd need to make about three Starbucks runs per day.

Eat 83 slices of avocado toast

Avocado toast doesn't come cheap, but $1,000 goes a long way. At a chain like Le Pain Quotidien, where avocado toast runs $12 in New York City, you can eat breakfast for 83 mornings in a row for the price of a new iPhone.

Apple introduces ‘Face ID’ for iPhone X

Apple introduces ‘Face ID’ for iPhone X Apple today confirmed the iPhone X will feature facial recognition technology dependent upon a new “true depth camera system” including an infrared camera, flood illuminator, dot projector, and proximity sensor. The Face ID feature will work in low light situations and, according to Apple, there’s only a one in a million chance another face (unless you have an evil twin) can unlock your device.Every time you look at your iPhone X it detects your face. The feature will allow users to unlock devices simply by looking at them, essentially letting iPhone owners to use their face as a password.

Shorter days , leaves changing color and colder weather used to be the ways we can tell that fall is coming, but lately there's a new sign: Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks.

But wait – Gabrielle called me the other day and told me that she found out that the Pumpkin Spice Latte has no pumpkin in it. So yummy. Gabrielle couldn’t believe how great it tastes, and she has decided to make it herself at home (when she can ’t get to Starbucks).

Sail to the Caribbean

Spend seven luxurious days cruising through the Caribbean for the same price as one iPhone X. Both Norwegian and Royal Caribbean offer routes from Florida and Louisiana down through the Bahamas and other Caribbean islands for around $1,000 per person.

See Billy Joel live in concert 10 times — or up close once

Follow the trend of prioritizing experiences over things, and splurge on concert tickets to see your favorite band. Tickets go for as low as $100 to see Billy Joel perform at New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden, but floor seats can run up to $2,000 resale.

Spend nine days at Disneyland

Day passes for the Anaheim, Calif., resort run $110 per day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, although normal weekdays only cost $97 per visit. Stretch your vacation even longer by purchasing a multi-day pass, which discounts daily tickets, but expect to shell out for food and souvenirs.

What happened to the iPhone 9?

What happened to the iPhone 9? Apple announced its iPhone X. It’s the new flagship iPhone that will be released in November, weeks after the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus go on sale on September 23rd. Apple says you’re supposed to pronounce the iPhone X as “iPhone ten,” and it’s designed to mark 10 years of the iPhone. While the iPhone 8 is an iPhone 7S in all but name, the number jump across all the new iPhone models means we’re now officially missing an iPhone 9.Apple’s typical S naming is gone for this year at least, which isn’t entirely surprising.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe. Ah, the smell of Autumn. If you 're turned off by the high prices of most store- bought beverages, then you can follow this recipe for making a Pumpkin Spice Latte of your very own.

Turn a Pumpkin Spice Latte into Pumpkin Spice Latte Popcorn with this easy recipe that takes only 5 minutes! Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 day . You can make this recipe using microwave popcorn, freshly popped, or buy it packaged at the grocery store.

Invest your money and watch it grow

Never underestimate the power of compound interest: $1,000 invested today will more than double over 10 years, growing to $2,225 with an 8 percent rate of return. Put away that much every month and it will only take you 25 years to become a millionaire.

But even if monthly contributions of $1,000 are out of reach for you — as they are for the majority of Americans — if you have an extra grand now, you can use it to jump start your retirement savings by contributing to an employer-sponsored 401(k) plan and taking advantage of any company match. Or you could put it in a Roth IRA or traditional IRA, which are both individual retirement accounts that offer tax benefits.

If you're among the 69 percent of Americans who have less than $1,000 in savings, you can use that iPhone money to pad your emergency fund. Most experts recommend building up three to six months worth of living expenses in a rainy day fund, but some say it's smarter to have between eight months and year's worth of cash in the bank. Either way, an extra $1,000 is sure to help you get started.

Pumpkin Spice Latte . October 31, 2013 by Alice Currah 4 Comments. I use very little pumpkin and pumpkin spice . I use the best espresso dark roast bean I can buy on sale. Have never tried microwave/blender route before, will have to give it a go one day .

I adore pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks. I think they taste like a warm hug. So delish. And I look forward to them every fall. This lovely concoction starts with homemade pumpkin pie spice . Yes, you can make it at home and save yourself the for the 1-oz container at the store.

Here's how much money you should have in your emergency fund, according to financial expert Suze Orman

The iPhone X may be very difficult to buy until 2018 .
If you’re eager to put down $1,000 or more for Apple’s new bezel-less, OLED-equipped iPhone X, you’ll probably want to be awake and ready at the company’s preorder page come October 27th. “We believe the fullscreen design and facial recognition features will drive replacement demand for the iPhone X,” Kuo explains. But “due to supply constraints,” he adds, it’s unlikely demand will match supply until 2018. Kuo says he anticipates Apple will ship around 40 million iPhone X units before the end of the fiscal year, and as many as 90 million in 2018.
