LeBron not concerned with his all-time ranking: 'It's barbershop talk'

LeBron not concerned with his all-time ranking: 'It's barbershop talk' LeBron James will go down as one of the best players of all time - if not the best player ever - when his career is over. For now, The King is concentrating on maximizing the time he has left in the game, and paying no mind to debates over his legacy. "Where they rank me, who I'm better than,For now, The King is concentrating on maximizing the time he has left in the game, and paying no mind to debates over his legacy.

LeBron James caused quite a stir lately when he spoke about the New York Knicks passing up on Dennis Smith Jr. with the eighth overall pick in this year’s draft. The Cleveland Cavaliers star thinks that the Dallas Mavericks rookie is a really good player and should’ve ended up representing the Knicks

The beef between LeBron James and Enes Kanter might be the most exciting storyline in the NBA to develop this month.

Things go back to the weekend when James jabbed the Knicks while complimenting Mavericks rookie Dennis Smith Jr. James had said that the Knicks made a mistake by skipping over Smith and taking Frank Ntilikina at No. 8 overall in the draft. Kanter came to the defense of his Knicks teammate in response to LeBron.

Then during Monday’s game between the Knicks and Cavaliers, Kanter got in James’ face in the first quarter while standing up for Ntilikina.

The fireworks continued in the postgame show. Kanter came out firing about his scuffle with James, saying he wouldn’t let the former NBA MVP punk his team.

James was informed of Kanter’s comments and responded.

Kanter isn’t about to let LeBron get away with anything, which has to be respected. But clearly James is shrugging things off and doesn’t seem to be bothered by a player who’s not really on his level of play.

Agent on LeBron's future: 'Most important thing is about winning' .
Rich Paul, LeBron James’ agent, made it clear during a recent interview that when it comes to his client’s future, the “most important thing is about winning.” Paul recently joined “The Herd” and weighed in on James’ free-agency future, interestingly adding that James’ “owes” it to the Cleveland Cavaliers to focus on the here and now and worry about what the future holds further on down the line. “For anywhere, not Los Angeles, not Miami, not Detroit, Milwaukee,” Paul said, via Pro Basketball Talk. “I think for LeBron, and for most athletes, the most important thing is about winning.“At his level, it should be. It should be about winning at his point in his career.
