The NBPA sent out a memo to players that ASM Sports president Andy Miller has " relinquished his NBPA agent certification ." The FBI raided Miller’ s office in September, seizing computers and documents in connection with the probe .

In in the immediate aftermath of its investigation into student-athlete recruiting in college basketball in late September, the FBI raided the offices of ASM sports, the agency founded by notable NBA agent Andy Miller.

On Wednesday a memo was circulated on behalf of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) notifying the league’s players that Miller had “relinquished his NBPA certification,” according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Miller represented a handful of star players around the NBA, including three members of the Toronto Raptors— Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka and Fred VanVleet.

Prominent player agent Andy Miller has relinquished his National Basketball Players Association certification and will no longer represent None of the company' s most prominent clients left in the wake of the FBI probe , which included the arrest of an ex-employee, Christian Dawkins, in September.

ASM Sports is the agency founded by Andy Miller, who used to represent NBA stars like Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks and Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors before relinquishing his NBPA certification in December as a result of the FBI probe .

There is no word as to how those Raptors players will be impacted. Miller helped Lowry and Ibaka ink three-year extensions with Toronto this past summer, but VanVleet’s contract expires after this season. According to Wojnarowski, many of Miller’s former clients “are expected to remain with other agents in the company.”

As one agent told Sportsnet in September, the investigations will ultimately expose the “seedy underbelly” of basketball.
