Everything seemed normal for goalie Freddie Andersen Tuesday morning.

The Maple Leafs goalie was back on the ice, practising with teammates, about 14 hours after taking a skate to the head in the Leafs’ 7-4 win over Anaheim Monday night.

Concerns for Andersen — especially over the possibility of a concussion —— were high following the second period incident, in which Corey Perry tripped up through the crease, and had his skate come up and strike Andersen on his goalie mask.

Andersen, who lay prone and motionless on the ice for several moments, left the game and did not return.

But the Leafs’ top goalie, who is among the NHL leaders in games played (with 45 so far), dropped into practice Tuesday at noon looking 100 per cent healthy.

That’s good news for the Leafs, who take on the 2017 Stanley Cup finalist Nashville Predators Wednesday evening at the Air Canada Centre.
