The U.S. sled hockey team earned a resounding 10-0 win over Japan in their tournament opener, looking very much like the team who won gold four years ago in Sochi. Forward Brody Roybal set the pace with a hat trick and one assist, while Declan Farmer added a goal and three helpers.

Not to be outdone, Canada picked up where they left off after their 17-0 tournament-opening blowout over Sweden, tacking on a 10-0 win over Italy. Forward Ben Delaney led the way with a hat trick and an assist, while netminder Corbin Watson stopped all four shots against him.

The Americans continued to set the tone on skis on Day 3. Cross-country skier Kendall Gretsch captured gold in her Paralympic debut, besting the field in the 12-kilometer sitting event. The U.S. won additional silver and bronze medals in cross-country, and a silver in men's sitting super-G to maintain their lead on the overall medal table.

For the third straight Winter Paralympics, Slovakia's Henrieta Farkasova and Jakub Krako added to their staggering career medal hauls in alpine skiing in the visually impaired category.

Farkasova's win in Sunday's event was her third straight games besting the competition in super-G, and her seventh Paralympics gold overall. Krako's super-G gold was his first at PyeongChang 2018 and fifth gold overall dating back to Vancouver 2010.
