Monday night's Game 4 was a cruel case of deja vu for the Toronto Raptors, as it marked the third time in as many years that the franchise has been booted from the playoffs in convincing fashion by LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Even after such a crushing defeat, Raptors head coach Dwane Casey remains optimistic that his team can eventually be the one to figure out the James conundrum and advance to its first NBA Finals.

"You're looking at probably one of the guys that's going to go down as one of the greatest ever, and is a matchup nightmare for anybody. I think anybody whose played against him will see that, but at some point, that's going to come down. That's going to change," Casey told the media following Toronto's 128-93 blowout loss at Quicken Loans Arena, via Def Pen Hoops.

With three straight cracks at James, the Raptors have only managed to emerge victorious on two occasions, taking a pair of home games in the 2016 conference finals. They've since dropped 10 in a row to the Cavaliers in postseason action, including two straight sweeps.

James averaged 34 points on 55.3 percent shooting along with 8.3 rebounds, 11.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and a rejection in 41.8 minutes across the four games of this year's second-round series.
